How COI Guardian uses cookies and similar technologies.
This policy is maintained by the app owner and describes the cookies currently set by COI Guardian.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies such as localStorage keep small pieces of data on your device so the app can remember your session and preferences.
Essential cookies
COI Guardian sets essential authentication cookies and stores your session token so you stay signed in while moving between pages. Without them, sign-in and protected pages cannot work.
Preference storage
We use browser localStorage to remember your selected interface language, so the app opens in the same language next time. This data is stored locally on your device and never leaves your browser.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use. Google Analytics only loads after you accept the Analytics category, and it sets its own cookies and identifiers (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visits. Analytics is disabled by default, we keep Google advertising storage and personalisation switched off, and we do not send your email address, company name, vendor names or certificate data to Google. Microsoft Clarity, previously used for session analysis, is currently disabled and receives no data. No advertising pixel is active at this time.
Third-party cookies
When you complete a payment, Stripe may set cookies required for secure checkout and fraud prevention. Brevo may also use technical technologies required for the secure delivery of transactional emails. Authentication cookies are managed by our platform provider on our behalf.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent access to the dashboard.
Your consent choices
Refusing optional cookies is as easy as accepting them: the banner shown on your first visit offers both options directly. You can reopen “Cookie preferences” from the footer or from this page at any time to change or withdraw your Analytics consent. Withdrawing stops any further analytics loading and removes the Google Analytics cookies that are accessible to the site. Your choice is stored on your device together with the policy version and the date of the decision.
